​ចំពោះ​អ្នកភូមិ​រស់នៅក្នុង​កំពង់​ឃ្លាំង ជីវិត​របស់​ពួកគេ​គឺ​ពឹង​ផ្អែកលើ​ធម្មជាតិ​គួរឱ្យកត់សម្គាល់​។ ពួកគេ​ប្រើ​ឈើ​ពី​ព្រៃ​លិច​ទឹក​ដើម្បី​ចម្អិន​អាហារ ដោយមាន​ប្រភេទ​អាហារ​ចម្បង​ជា​ត្រី​ពី​បឹង​ទន្លេសាប​ផងដែរ​។ ការទទួលបាន​ផ្លូវថ្នល់ និង​អគិគីសនី កំពុង​ចាប់ផ្តើម​ផ្លាស់ប្តូរ​របៀប​រស់នៅ​តាម​បែប​ប្រពៃណី ដែល​ជំរុញ​ឱ្យ​អ្នកភូមិ​ចង់មានចង់បាន​កាន់តែច្រើន​។ ការផ្លាស់ប្តូរ​របៀបរ​ស់​នៅ​ក៏​បណ្តាលឱ្យ​អ្នកភូមិ​ប្រ​ម៉ាញ់​ធនធានធម្មជាតិ​បឹង​ទន្លេសាប​កាន់តែ​ច្រើនឡើង​ដែរ​។​

 

For the villagers living in Kampong Kleang, their lives depend on nature considerably. Cooking uses wood from the flooded forest with the main type of food being fish from the Tonle Sap. Access to the road and electricity is beginning to change traditional lifestyles driving villagers desires more and more.  The change in lifestyle has also resulted in villagers hunting more in the Tonle Sap Lake.
