ជា​រៀងរាល់ឆ្នាំ​ត្រី​ក្រឡង់ ឬ​ត្រី​ព្រួល បានធ្វើ​ចរាចរ​បន្លាស់​ទី​ចេញពី​បឹង​ទន្លេសាប ចុះ​តាម​ទន្លេសាប​ចូលទៅក្នុង​ទន្លេមេគង្គ​នៅ​ភ្នំពេញ​។ ប្រភេទ​ត្រី​ធ្វើចរាចរ​បន្លាស់​ទី​មាន​ប្រមាណ​ជា ៣០​ទៅ​៧០​ភាគរយ គឺជា​ប្រភេទ​ត្រី​នៅ​ទន្លេមេគង្គ​ដែលមាន​សារៈសំខាន់​សម្រាប់​សេដ្ឋកិច្ច តួយ៉ាង​ដូចជា​ប្រភេទ​ត្រី​រៀល ត្រី​រាជ និង​ប្រភេទ​ត្រី​ប្រា​។ បរិស្ថាន​ទឹក​ល្អ​និង​ការតភ្ជាប់​គ្នា​នៃ​ទន្លេមេគង្គ​មាន​សារៈសំខាន់​ណាស់​ក្នុងការ​រស់រានមានជីវិត​របស់​ត្រី​និង​មនុស្ស ដែល​ពឹង​អាស្រ័យ​លើ​ទន្លេ​នេះ​ដើម្បី​រក​ចំណីអាហារ

Every year, mud carp migrate out of the Tonle Sap Lake, down the Tonle Sap River, and into the Mekong River at Phnom Penh.  Migratory species make up 30-70% of commercially important Mekong fish including species like trey riel, Mekong giant catfish, and river catfish.  A healthy, connected Mekong River is vital to the survival of these fish and the people who depend on them for food (Courtesy Zeb Hogan / USAID Wonders of the Mekong).
